Title: Riser material
Post by: bowhntineverythingnh03743 on September 06, 2014, 06:42:00 PM
Where are you guys getting your supplies from. I want to start stalking up on slabs of different woods. I have one place here in NH but it's a small selection.

Mike at Rosewood archery is a great guy to work with and is very reasonably priced, great wood as well, only problem is you can't see what you're buying.  Hasn't been a problem though.  Otherwise you're stuck finding a place you can drive to.  I think Big jim sells some stuff too, has pics on his site.

I have lots of woods in stock...and stored in a wood friendly environment. The key to quality riser woods is MC or moisture content. If it is even a little wet, it can give you issues.

Bingham has some but in a limited selection.  Not sure about Old Mazter Crafters.
