Title: Forward riser
Post by: recurve25 on August 24, 2014, 07:30:00 AM
What advantages are there to a forward riser as opposed to the standard riser/grip configuration?

It moves the pivot point ahead of the bendy part of the bow helping torqueing the riser problems.

Yup, what he said. Some people can't tell a difference, many say that the bow is a bit more stable in the hand and their groups tighten up a little. I like the feel of it when shooting and plan to make another soon.

That and it makes it look normal when you accidentally put your pants on backwards on your way to the range...
