I glued this bow up about 2 years ago, intending for it to be a reverse handle string follow. After I initially strung it, I did not like the look at all, thus I finished it as a regular hill. It sat on the shelf for a long time and moved with me out to NJ.
I wanted to do a high gloss finish and I sprayed the first coat of TB on this about 5 weeks ago, I then sanded and sprayed about 3 more timed and then let it cure for a couple weeks. I wet sanded and wet sanded after that, then buffed and waxed. This is the first and last time I do a high gloss finish.
Specs:
67# @ 28" - 66" NTN. 14" black phenolic riser with a 16.5" .016 speed tuff p-lam and tip wedges, bamboo core with .005 total taper per inch. I also added a .016 speed tuff lam in the core. Trapped from back to front.
I also noticed today I wrote 76# on the bow under all the finish....instead of 67# what it is supposed to be. Here are some pics:

Nice clean lines!
That's a beauty Brad!!
Outstanding! Thank you for sharing it with us.
All I can say is...WOW!!!
Really good looking bow. I know that finish was a pain to do but it makes that black bow really POP.
Great looking bow Brad, I'm really liking those tiny tips!
Now that is a sweet bow! Where do you get your phenolic? I am wanting to purchase some larger pieces for risers but could only find 1/4 " pieces from Bingham.
Thanks everyone...
For the phenolic, try Plastics International - Item LB-1.75-S
I think you have to call them to order
sleek one there!!!real nice!!
Sweet bow!!
Great job and very nice bend. The colors blend in nicely................
Great bow!
also like the phenolic. I was looking at doing a riser with G10 as a large component 'till I saw the prices!
Sweet bow Brad! That black really looks good with the gloss finish
What was your total stack for this bow?
That looks sharp!
Thanks. James the total stack was .585 excluding the p lam.
