This is a bow I started before my Trade Bow and finally finished. Gaboon ebony and black palm, it's named Black Point (a good spearfishing spot in Narragansett) and seemed like a good name for a 3D bow :D

If it shoots as good as it looks your 3D season should be a good one. Nice work!
I GUESS IT'S OK... :)
Roy, keep it down...Kenny is trying to take a nap!
Looking good, nice finish. bue--.
I love your riser design... Looks amazing!
Nice! I really love that sculpted riser.
Dave.
Very nice...love the wood combo!!!
Sweet bow, Norbert! I will be glad when I can do my finishes like yours!!
Like I said Ken, it all got better when I started using a cheap gun and small compressor. I'm really liking the Big Jim buffalo hide satin.
Awesome skills man!
Nice!!!
Very cool, love the dark wood combo!
HF has several touch up spray guns. Which one did you get? The 120 cc or 6.75 oz?
Very nice!! That's an awesome finish- what are the specs on the bow?
Now that is super sweet! Beautiful bow, congrats and the color scheme is absolutely terrific.

Very good looking bow.
Ken, this is the one I use (bought a couple)

Trux, it was supposed to be 62" but needs a 60" string, so I guess it is really a 63" bow. 43@27, black glass with maple. Power lam and tip wedges. 0.300 stack with a total taper of 0.003.
Bigbob, that black palm is cool wood and not too bad to work with. Reminds me of your hairy oak a little.
i guess it's ok.
You guys need to buy a real spray gun. Ya spend hundreds of bucks on glass and lams, and fancy riser woods, then ya spend 12 bucks for a spray gun? Ya spend 80 - 90 bucks for fancy bow finish and 12 bucks for a gun to spray it? Geeze Oh Man.....

I only use two tablespoons of finish at a time so the mini cup really works well. If I was puttin another coat of gray primer on the 56 Ford like you I might get a bigger one. :wavey:
Nap? That's fer retirded folks!! I'm still workin!
Real nice Norb!! Love the shape of your riser, its hard to make a TD longbow riser look good to me, but you nailed it!
That is one sharp looking bow - love it.
What a beauty!! How long is your riser?
Thanks guys. It is a 15" riser. I've never liked risers that have flat sections, hard edges and angles so I really try to get rid of them. I kind of want my riser to look like it has muscles. The riser on the bow Al made for himself really caught my eye because it was so sleek.
Hey guy's I shot this bow and it shoots as good as it looks ! It's hard to believe Norb just started making bows, great attention to detail keep up the good work Norb
NAILED IT! is right!!
nice job!!
Norb,
Will your riser have Pins inserted in the 2 extra holes on either in? Great looking bow!
Yes. I took them out to spray the finish on.
