Title: Making a bow for shooting carp ??

What should I use for a insert on the front of the bow to accept my AMS reel?

i ordered up a few front stabilizer inserts from 3rivers. will be building 3 of them in the next month or so.

If you have an AMS rig, don't you want the side mounts?

you know you are correct. I just screwed it on a old shakespear but I probably will use inserts. Any suggestions

I"ve used the little brass inserts that you drill glue and tap into the riser. They are threaded for the mounting screws.

Yes, the 10-24 AMO riser inserts will fit the AMS
