What kind of heat control do you guy's use for curing (smooth on) in your hot box for glass bows??

I use a Binghams thermostat(around 10.00 I believe) but know some have used other means.

I use a PID temperature controller. There pretty easy to wire up and allows me to set any temp I want. Its nice for overlays and such cause it can be set for a lower temp then the bow was cured at. You can find them at the big auction site for around $20-30. I use one on a gas forge as well and works perfectly. If you decide to go that route and need help setting it up, let me know.

I've got one hot box set up with the Bingham's thermostat and another set up with a thermostat from an old wood stove. Between the two, I prefer the wood stove one. It has an adjustment that allows me to go higher or lower on the temp range if I need to.
I have an extra bi-metal control(brand new) you can have. keeps my box right around 172-176

Thats what I want
I have a STC-1000 I got off Am---N for 20 bucks, Very easy to use and adjust. I have it set up with a timer so I just turn on the whole unit and it shuts off when its time. They use them for brewing beer you can heat or cool with them I just use the heating settings. I have two on two different heat boxes. One is set up with bulbs for tips and overlays the other is set up with a electric heater.
