I just bought the Savannah stealth and after steching the string it's braced at 7 1/2 and 1/2 inch tiller on top limb .most of my bows are 1/4 inch on top even my 87 the stick built by chuck Jones at the howatt factory its tiller is 1/4 on top limb .just wondering if I should be concered?
I usually I make mine at 1/4 or 1/8. Im not sure about 1/2. Would really like to see an experienced bowyer come in here and let us know. I would be interested as well.
My guess if it shoots good who cares! But what do I know? lol
I just bought savanna stealth and read on another form Larry Hatfield a the one who built the Savannah and he also said that after the sale of martin some months ago that no more. Bowyers other than chuck Jones are working in the howatt factory .so it makes me wonder if I'm getting a bad product since all the bowyers are gone think I'm going to email martin
Wow I did not realize that. All is left is Chuck? Yeah I would call.
I posted before and thought it was 1/4" but now realized you said 1/2". Probably still won't make much difference but that is high.
