READ SLOWLY
So you have this T/D Recurve, and you want to copy it, but you want a 1 piece.
Can you make your riser the same length and use a power lam. your power lam would be the same thickness as the T/D wedge if you measured it at the END of the T/D riser, mine is about .150 at that intersection,,, (and tapers to .000) and it sticks out 3 1/2" past the T/D riser each side.
SO my riser is 12 3/4" my power lam would be + 3 1/2" each side = 19 3/4"
My power lam would be .150 thick 19 3/4" long with 3 1/2" of taper to .00 each end.
sound good to me :knothead:
Is your takedown riser 12 3/4" long? Seems short.
Yes
It is the Static recurve POST on page 2
Your gonna have to account for limb pad angel too. If you are doing a more forward handle it will get you closer but you might end up building a couple to get what you want oh well more fun. Have at it there only one way to find out.
Cory
Yes on the pad angle.
I'm not sure you need the power lam, but it may make figuring the stack easier. Cory's right, though. You'll end up building a couple or three to get it right, then a couple more because you like it so much, and a couple or three more for friends . . . :knothead:
