Bad news for some obscure reason it came in way over weight at 57#!!! (http://i1256.photobucket.com/albums/ii485/bigbob292/007-8.jpg) (http://s1256.photobucket.com/user/bigbob292/media/007-8.jpg.html)

There we go, very nice. How heavy are ya? I bet you could trap the belly and loose 7 lb or so.

Wow nice bow Bob- those riser colors are awesome!
holy smokes bob that thing is awesome don't worry about losing any weight just send her on over to me
That is beautiful Bob - great job...those colors and wood selections really go nicely together. Oh and I am good with the weight...
Need a pic of the splice in the limb... :saywhat:
fujimo, its a derivative of a Kennym of course. :bigsmyl: Have to get a shot of splice later mate. thanks also cunruhshoot. I will still get at losing a few more pounds eventually. I can handle the extra weight but being a senior citizen like Roy don't see the need anymore.I am aware the osage will darken with time but reckon it will be just as effective in a darkish brown.
Gorgeous!
Awesome!
Looking Good. Bue--. :)
thanks Pago Moe and Bue.
I have a snakey stave in the rack....just saying :readit:
heh, heh heh :saywhat:
I GUESS IT'S OK. :wavey:

Bob, as always, Beautiful job!! I wouldn't have put those two colors together, but it works great. I love it. I guess that's why I build self bows, one less thing to worry about. By the way 57# is exactly what I'm shooting now, (just say'n) I also have a bunch of nice snakey osage. LOL.
That osage looks really sharp with the charcoal. Beauty!
Very nice looking bow. Have you tied to shoot it to see if it is too heavy for you? Just wondering but its a beautiful looking piece..Congrats!!
Thanks fellas! I did trap a little and take it down to 55#, and going to keep it for demo model to take to trad shoots. Can handle that weight without real problems, just don't feel the need though when 45# is more than sufficient for our targets which only have a maximum of 28 yards.
Sweet! I plan on starting my 3rd here shortly and will steal a few ideas from this one!
Most welcome. In fact I saw a Charcoal actionwod on here with some Osage trim recently which gave me the idea.
