There we go, very nice. How heavy are ya? I bet you could trap the belly and loose 7 lb or so.

Really like the ramp overlays.b

fujimo, its a derivative of a Kennym of course.   :bigsmyl:  Have to get a shot of splice later mate. thanks also cunruhshoot. I will still get at losing a few more pounds eventually. I can handle the extra weight but being a senior citizen like Roy  don't see the need anymore.I am aware the osage will darken with time but reckon it will be just as effective in a darkish brown.

Bob, as always, Beautiful job!!  I wouldn't have put those two colors together, but it works great. I love it.  I guess that's why I build self bows, one less thing to worry about.  By the way 57# is exactly what I'm shooting now, (just say'n) I also have a bunch of nice snakey osage. LOL.

Very nice looking bow. Have you tied to shoot it to see if it is too heavy for you? Just wondering but its a beautiful looking piece..Congrats!!

Thanks fellas! I did trap a little and take it down to 55#, and going to keep it for demo model to take to trad shoots. Can handle that weight without real problems, just don't feel the need though when 45# is more than sufficient for our targets which only have a maximum of 28 yards.
