Title: Oak Veneers
Post by: bow loving man on January 12, 2014, 05:46:00 PM
Does anyone use oak as veneers in a glass bow?  I have a piece that has some meaning to it for me and I  was thinking of having a bow built with veneers from this board?  Will Oak work?  All comments appreciated...thanks

Just put two sets of quarter sawn white oak veneers on my thread at the Sponsors classified. I saw a bow last summer that had QSWO veneers and thought it was rather stunning.

I think you could use about any wood for veneers.
