Title: Fletch-Tite glue
Post by: wolfshadow on December 05, 2013, 08:18:00 PM
Is there any way to beat the high price of a 3/4 oz. tube of Fletch-tite glue for fletching?

I have switched to fletching tape. Never had any problems and very fast fletch time. Just fletch and go shoot!

Duco at Walmart is dirt cheap and does the same job as fletch tite. Fletch tape is awesome too.

Another vote for fletch tape.  Still not exactly cheap, but I can fletch a dozen arrows in under an hour with a single clamp jig.

I use superglue ... if for no other reason than the last thing I need in my life is another adhesive ... you've got wood glue, epoxy, hide glue, superglue, and now I need to remember to buy fletch-tite or duco also? I don't think so ...

Missed an opportinity on a nice buck yesterday with the new longbow ... It was tough not to smash it and forget about "trad" entierly ... I eventually cooled off.
