Title: Is this B-50?
Post by: wazabodark on November 24, 2013, 03:21:00 PM
Can anyone tell me what kind of string I have here? This spool was given tome by a friend who said he thought it was bowstring, but wasn't sure. There's nothing on the spool to identify it. This stuff is thin, strong, and waxed; and I know that b-50 comes on a spool like this one. So the indicators are there. I just want to be sure before I use it. Thanks-RD  (https://www.dropbox.com/sc/d3w4uo8u35si6rc/DbwsP88CEf%20%3Cbr%20/%3E)

I would sa y no it looks like its braided cord to sew leather goods, I could be wrong about that but its not b 50 or any other bow string I've used.

Alright fellas. Thanks again for your input. I'll save it for my quivers and bracers.
