Is it a smart thing to use unibond 800 fresh out of the ref,' mix it and start puting your lamenation together. the reason I ask is I did that it was only about 65 degrees In my shop. to make a short story pulled it once and all lam, pealed off I didnt have any problems this summer when the demp was up. thanks BUCK
Buck, I use mine straight from the fridge.
I try to heat the shop up to above 70 with my wood stove.
I put the bow together and then put a light under a wire basket and cover it all with a sleeping bag over night.
Think the can says 70 degrees or above.
Thanks for the info I thought my shop was a little to cool mac one more question can I PUT THE BOW I n my hot box and for how long thanks BUCK
Yes. I think it is a minimum of 4 hours.
I'd try to keep it near 90 to 100 and leave it 12 hours or over night.
I put a tent over my glue-up with a couple of 60w lights. Here it is opened up;

Closed up, 90 degrees is attainable on a 30 degree night.

That is pretty much what I do.
Had not measured it. Good to know what is possible.

Eric I like your gluing station bench looks like it can be moved outside in the summer. I may have ahem,,, borrow its design.
Buck I wrap my bow in plastic pallet wrap in the winter then place it on the form with the clamps adjusted to the desired shape. Once clamped I put it in my office/den above the TV for 24 hrs. The wife says I have to keep the door closed to my office at all times. :dunno:
Here is a better picture of my glue-up table.
