Title: First a-wood job done! *pic-heavy*

Finished my first R/D with actionwood riser, black and clear glass and a-boo core.
63" and about 35#@28" DPP.

I really like the overlay you put of the riser and the tips. Very cool. Very different.

Kinda reminds me of an old pearson palamino ... except nicer.

Thanks for you comments folks!

No BrushWolf; I get this stuff from cwp.fi and customize the blanks` colours- its just black, brown and natural.
If got you wrong- the belly lam is tan/carbonized aboo.

Very nice! Eye catching for sure!

I really don't want to bring negativity to such a beautiful work of art, but it does look to me like, in the braced pic, that the bottom limb is hinging right off the end of the fade. In the draw pic as well. Be careful with it and keep an eye on it.

Hi Mike,
sharp eyes for sure- your among about three guys who`ve noticed- but it is design related as the riser`s backs are straight cut exept 4" in middle.
This allows me to use a three piece form- two limb profiles and a solid rail to hold them. With this setup I can easily change riserlengt or play with TD versions e.g...
