I still have a bit of sanding/shaping to do, but it is bending nicely (no full draw... my lovely assistant isn't here to take my picture...)
I have to say I love the black walnut and osage together. More to come...
I rubbed some bees wax/orange oil on it just to show what it should look like when finished :)
Looking good!
Yea, I like the walnut and osage together too. Looks good for only two days into it.
That is a good combo- looking good!
Thanks guys! I forgot to mention that the cores are red elm and it is 62" TtT and is right about #60@28" now. I might drop it a few pounds though.
Looking very good.
Lookin good Nick!! You are movin right along too!!
Nice.
Very nice - i just took an osage bow out of the oven today. My riser is Bocote with Maple and Bubinga. I am having a hard time deciding what to go with in nock overlayes. I like your osage nocks. For contrast I was thinking of a bloodwood.
That is a very nice bow for sure.
I like that Osage and walnut together. Nice work!
Nice Work!

That is a very nice looking bow - great job! Did you use Kenny's form template as well or is that your own? I have been using the hybrid form template from Bingham but I am excited to try out Kenny's form template. I have it almost ready to test out.
Lucky Dog! Looks great!
Thanks for the kind words :)
Thanks again Kenny for posting the giveaways! You're a great guy :)
This is from the Binghams 62" hybrid plans.
