Title: positive tiller
Post by: robA72 on June 21, 2013, 12:34:00 PM
Hey guys,
I was wondering how critical it is to fix positive tiller of a 1/2 inch?
This is a 35# board bow to be used for target practice. I want it to be the best I can make it but wasn't too sure if I was making a big deal about nothing. What are your thoughts?
Thanks

positive tiller is usually only like 1/8". and it's not critical. an even tiller is fine also

I don't aim for predetermined brace measurements. I time the limbs and let the tiller measurements be what they want to be.

thanks guys. I will aim for a perfect tiller on the next bow, which I just started roughing out about an hour ago!
