Has anyone out there made a bow using an old ski?

There are people- I did not, but I`ve heard srorys about it; I can`t find pictures atm.
You`ll need a peace of wood as a 2pc TD Riser and two skies you chop and screw towards it as recurve limbs- yust a any usual 3pc takedown recurve... shall be save till 30-40# (I heard^^)
