Finished my third try at Yew wood. It may be a little harder to find good wood on the dry side of Oregon but it seems to fling a arrow pretty good. I guess this would be a flatbow, 60 incher and 52@28"
Made from a couple billets from different trees (saving the good stuff in case I get better)
I need to tune some arrows to it and find a fitting name. I've got a little over sixty arrow thru her and think she may go grouse hunting this fall.

Looks good. Would like to,see a full draw pic.
I'll have to wait till someones here to snap the pic for a full draw. I've only seen the tiller board myself.
...and an unbraced pic.
Looks nice
Hey Robin,
They gotcha make'n wood bows now too eh.
Lookin good.
Thanks Rob.
Hey Traxx, hope you wintered well. I have some yew from a thinning project for fire safety. This bow took about a year to get done in 5 min. sessions.
I was way over my abilitys but the wood was free and I just got lucky. It's also a first for rawhide backing.
I'll see if I can get more pics taken and up.
