Title: Saved some osage
Post by: okie64 on April 21, 2013, 10:57:00 AM
My Dad called me the other day to tell me about some land being cleared for development. I drove over to take a look and could see there was some pretty decent stuff in there So I fired up the saw and cut my way in. I cant hardly stand to see good osage being dozed into brushpiles and burned. The logs are all between 4 and 6 feet long and they had pretty good rings in them. Thanks for lookin.

Great save Okie.  My first staves came from a tree that was scheduled to come down for a road widening project.
