I have never used black glass before.. this one is a 66"D/R built on my kennym 62"/64" form. I nailed the target weight of 35# @ 28". amberboo parallels, powerlam and tapers, brown actionwood riser, 043 ULS black glass. red and black tips (http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt46/Robertfishes/bow18march2013_zpsb9832ff8.jpg) (http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt46/Robertfishes/bow18march2013a_zps4877c46a.jpg)

Very nice!!
Nice looking bow.
Black is elegant. Great lookin' bow!
Very nice work on the tips. One of my favorite parts of building a bow.
Thanks for the kind words! I have 10 more pieces of black glass, 7 more risers and a 4 1/2" stack of amberboo tapers ready to go..gonna try to glue up 5 "blanks" next week and build all of them at the same time..I might slip a couple of pieces of 020 carbon into one of them just to see what happens..I have had the carbon for 4 years, might as well use it.
I agree, nice lookin' bow.
Very nice bow!
Nice work, it sounds like you'll be busy for a bit.

Very nice Robert and good luck on the rest...
Looks nice Robert. I really like the tips.
I got in some shop time after work today..got 5 black glass longbows ready to glue up. The risers are in a safe place, those paper thin fades are sooooo fragile. I should have time to glue one up tomorrow afternoon. (http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt46/Robertfishes/marchbowparts_zps045ca2fd.jpg)
