Finally got her finished.Does any one else HATE and i know hate is a strong word thats why im using it, the new version of photo bucket or is it just me?I had no problem with the old one.Bulk uploader worked great.Between this new version and my slow internet service it took me an two and a half hours to upload thes few pics.I hope there the rite size.Sorry had to vent. Thanks for looking,Scott (http://i643.photobucket.com/albums/uu154/618scottm/Image007-1.jpg) (http://i643.photobucket.com/albums/uu154/618scottm/Image002.jpg) (http://i643.photobucket.com/albums/uu154/618scottm/Image004-1.jpg) (http://i643.photobucket.com/albums/uu154/618scottm/Image005.jpg)

Great looker Scott!!
Yep I dislike the new and improved p-bucket.
that sure is a looker
Thanks Guys!I guess i should have posted some specs. Its 62" 48#@28 curly maple and walnut. It shoots great!Im very happy with it.
Nice! Love bows made from American Hardwoods.
Very sweet bow, Scott.
PB goes a lot smoother if the pictures you are uploading are the correct size for on here, which is 640 X 480. I have the setting in my camera set to only take pictures 640 x 480. If by some chance I want to upload a picture I didn't take, I edit the picture on my PC to 640 x 480 before I upload it.
Very nice!
I'm with you on photobucket, the new version has issues. I do like Roy and re-size the picture before uploading. It does seem to help.
Glad you hung tough and posted those pics of that pretty thing though.
Scptt it is wonderful you nailed it for sure. I love the curly maple. How does it shoot for you I think they are one of the best bows I have ever shot quick, forgiving and quiet. I am totally impressed.
Very nice! :clapper:
Looks sweet! Congrats on job well done
Sure looks sweet! You should be proud!
Very nice looking bow!
I hated photobucket too. Switched to Flickr and it seems to work fine.
Great looking bow Scott, that walnut and maple sure are a great combo!
Looks very cool- I first was in doubt about the riser, but now it is looking great!
Excellent work. If this is your first take down recurve I wonder what the next one will be like. :) Bue--.
looks good
LOOKS LIKE A SHOOTER. VERY NICE WOOD COMBO
I like it!!!
Looking good! I really like the walnut/maple combo. Both woods are very common here and I hope to use them together in the future.
Thanks everybody for the compliments and the photobucket tips.Scott
Looks nice Scott. Great looking finish job.
Thanks Dave.I finished the riser with a few coats of tru oil to fill in the grain on the walnut. Then three coats of Nason clear automotive finish from my hVLP gun,I then scuffed it with a scotch brite to dull it down a bit.Lastly I rubbed with medium rubbing compound until i felt it was the "semigloss" look i was wanting.I did this on my last longbow and it seems to be holding up well so far.Scott
The bow looks great, but your house in the background is very nice as well.

That maple/walnut combination is great! Congratulations on your bow build and for having the patience to post your pictures. I'm not brave enough to do that yet! :banghead: Your bow is at a perfect weight also!
