Wow, what is that wood used for the I-beam in the RD longbow? Is that the hairy oak? I love the way it looks. You guys have some cool "timbers" down under..
Nice looking bows, I really like the wood choices.

Nice bows Bob!! :clapper:
thanks for the kind words gents.beachbowhunter you got in one ,-- it is the hairy oak. I may have mentioned this before in a previous post but it gets its name from the fibrous bark, not because its in need of a shave. :goldtooth:
wow man i love your work :clapper: hope to one day have one
Working on it Soy, might take a while though! Love your snake bow too!
BigBob2, man oh man, are those some beauties.
Great work, I love them both.
You do have some interesting woods, wish we had some of that stuff here, it would be neat to build something with stuff like you show there.
I love that Hairy Oak, wow! Neat looking stuff, totally unique.
A lot of what i use is not commercially available and not always easy to source . Also a big pain in the proverbial having to wait for some stuff to season. I don't want to force it so I'll have to learn patience. :banghead: :banghead:
