so i decided to make a bowyers bench instead of clamping and unclamping from a sawhorse. once i put some leather on the feet, i can use it inside untill the weather clears up some.
here it is waiting for custom graphics to be applied,

what ya'll think?
very nice moose.thats a good looking crew you got there.I like to eat the crayons too. :biglaugh:
Thats cool. Make sure to seal it up good so that artwork doesn't wear away.
All that fine artwork might distract you from making bows.
LMAO Moose, I wouldn't want or expect it to be any other way:) And you will smile each and every time you sit down on that bench. Priceless....
I love it, Moose! A couple of my box stands looked similar to that after my boys started hunting with me.
them are fruit snacks she was eating. lol. she said it was hard work getting all the colors right so she needed a snack after. never tried to put a sealant over crayon before, not sure what will work.
Moose that is a wonderful bench! My old workbench looks very similar, and it is a joy to work on. Not sure about sealing for it, as I just put a piece of plexiglas over my bench. Tell the "pros" that they did an awesome job!
:clapper: :clapper:
Greta job there Moose, the crew looks good and did a darn fine job. You should be proud!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You bench looks good too, I agree, be sure to seal it to save that "Priceless Artwork".
That's cool. I let my three year old draw all over my bowshop.
Moose,i asked my daughter the art major and $150,000 worth of college said to seal it first with a couple coats of hair spray (really, thats what she said) then put deft spray over it once it drys.I would try a scrap piece first.Good luck--Joe
That is a new family treasure. Good stuff.
I can see some crayon artwork on your bows
