Title: ****Latest build Pics****
Post by: scottm on October 08, 2012, 11:45:00 AM
Here are my last two builds. Both Kennym's design. One is 62"43#@28 curly maple riser, brown glass for my friends son who is going to be 11 soon. Its a christmas present so keep it quiet.LOl!By the way the pics do not do the curly maple justice. Its a beautiful wood! The second that i built for my self is a bocote riser, clear glass with tiger koa limb veners 64"51#@28".Both have bamboo cores.I grind all my lams and veners on a home made drum sander.I dont think i could live with out it its so handy! Thanks for looking,Scott   (http://i643.photobucket.com/albums/uu154/618scottm/101_0179.jpg)

I'd like to see your home made drum sander! What kind of tolerances are you achieving?
