LMAO
I felt bad for him, I hope he did not give up..i hope he did some research on the internet and found out how bows are made.. I thought the bow was gonna break at the riser, tnen I saw the hinge when he strung it.
Oh the jokes that could be made here....
BTW, Roy how you doing these days?
man that was sad. but if not for the knowledge found here, it may be how we all would start.
lol, poor guy, not sure why he thought trying to full draw that was a good idea, may have been ok with a little kids short draw.
I would like to hear from the experts here about his bow design. Lets learn from this!
From what I have read, his limbs were too narrow. He should have had a lot more width to mid limb?
Maybe a wide pyramid style would have worked with his chosen material? Cast would probably be poor, though.
Thoughts?
I am good Ralph. And you?
Roy, life is good around here, thanks for asking
I've had the same look on my face a time or two...
I have had that "It Broke" look on my face a time or two. Truly is one of the best ways to learn.
My oak board bows ended the same way
Been there and looked like that, too! :(
well i still have same look with him :D
The thing I noticed most about the look on his face was that the despair was mixed with surprise. It was like he never even considered the possibility that the bow could fail.
nice try back to the drawing board :D
