Couple shots of first attempt at a board bow in nigh on 30years. Dropped it and sheared about 3'' off one tip so it ended up a bit short. Came in at 36# @ 28'' and is very smooth and quiet. (http://i1256.photobucket.com/albums/ii485/bigbob292/005-1.jpg)

Looking good, what wood species? Bue--.
nice bow indeed
Nice job.
Hoping no one would ask what it is! Its some sort of Asian hardwood I think, called something like Masseranduba!Has a tight grain, quite heavy and makes a great bow apparently. I am currently playing with a Mollegebet[?] from the same timber in between glass bows.
