I was wondering if anybody has tried tung oil for a finish over snake skin. I'm out of tru oil and I have some tung oil on hand and I've used it to make a nice finish on wood and I was wondering if anybody knows wether it would work on snake skin or not. Thanks

Yes it will work over snakeskin. Warm it up before you apply it and it will dry faster, maybe 90 to 100 degrees. I warm up in hot water.
