Just finished up a hickory bow I started earlier this summer. It's 47# @ 28, 62" long. Threw some faux rattlesnake skins on it. It's a pretty decent shooter. It most definitely would harvest a deer, which is all I'm really concerned about. Had some trouble with moisture....lesson learned. From the full draw pic, you can tell it's not even close to a perfect tiller, but I've been notorious for whip tillering my 1st few, so I'm getting better. :) I'm learning more about the cosmetics of the bow too. This is my 3rd complete bow and I continue to learn. I've got a hickory backed ipe in the works. Be looking for it in a month or so. Thanks for all who post on here. It's been a tremendous help.

Looking good. Tillering is certainly a learning, process.
That little guy in the picture looks like he is,ready to,shoot.
Yep, he's waiting for his bow! Fun to get them finished isn't it? That "skin" job looks good.
That lil guy is ready for about anything, as long as its got action. Thx for the kind words everyone. I appreciate it.
I like the look of the faux skins, may have to try them myself sometime.
What a good looking bow. Bet that little guy in the background is wishing he had one..
Great job, working on my first couple bows, they sure don't look that good. :)
Very nice.
Nice work. Those fake skins look nice as well. :clapper:
Thanks guys. I appreciate that. Just about ready to put the finishing touches on another bow. Hopefully I'll have a few pics posted by the end of the week. Thanks again
Nice bow like the snakeskin.
