Unfortunately, these beautiful lams from Kenny may need to go under some skins or limbsations. I've been experimenting with how little glue I can get away with and it looks like I went too light, the zebra soaked it up and I have some little milky spots under the glass. Everything was wet-to-wet, but when I aired up the fire hose I had very little squeeze out.
She shoots great and appears to be structurally sound. Maybe I'll camo dip the whole thing after season or just ignore the blemishes.

Shoot it up. Blemishes give character. If your hunting elk you want to be able to use it as a walking stick, limb mover, bear beater, and more. This way you won't be afraid to really "use" your great bow.
Very-very nice!
Thanks for sharing!

Nice looking bow. Just needs some elk blood on it. :bigsmyl:
Nice job Don! Should be good elk medicine!!
The blems add character, but just pi$$ you off to see em, huh? They do me anyway.(the ones I make)
Very nice!
Hope to see that beauty laying across the back of a nice bull! Great job! Tony
I agree with owlbait on this one. Beautiful bow no matter what flaws it may have, and with any hunting bow it will get some more character marks as well.
Nicely done.

Nice work. I see Elk Steaks in her.
Sweet!!! looking good...
Great looking bow!
Wow that bow is awesome! ! Good luck with the elk.
Well if it were only a left handed bow I would take it off your hands so you don't have to look at all them blemishes.
Nice work.
Beautiful bow. No reason to cover it up. I hope it brings you to a nice elk too!
Sweet bow

That's a great picture, congratulations that's a dandy. Tony
Awesome elk! and bow, must be an awesome feeling to take an elk with a bow you made. Congrats. If you don't mind, did you get that bull in an otc unit?
My dad's friend drew unit 76 and we saw some great bulls and had fun,but couldn't connect. I am impressed when guys get bulls like that on public OTC units.
Sweet
Now that's how you do it!!!!!!!
Nice bow and elk. Congrats.
Not OTC. This was in 61. Very cool unit and some nicer bulls around but no way was I passing this guy. Now its back to OTC units and looking to take any elk, and rarely will they be 150 yards from the truck like this guy was!
That bull sure looks grumpy. :knothead:
I'll bet those little blems don't bother you now!
Dave.
Story of the year in my opinion!
Well done man!!
Awesome! Unit 61 is a great unit with some neat terrain. That is a very nice bull for anywhere! Looking forward to reading more on the Powwow about the hunt. REally cool and thanks for sharing. Nice bow too.
SaaaaaaaaaaaaaWeeeet!!!
Super job Don!! Love it! :bigsmyl:
Way to go! You must be on cloud nine right now and understandably so!
