Title: Spray Finish Fixture
Post by: Drewster on August 16, 2012, 08:26:00 PM
I'm finishing an Omega longbow and since it has very small tips and no sure way to hang it for spray finishing, I came up with this idea to hold the bow vertically while spraying it.  Many of you experienced bowyers have probably already figured this out, but just in case you haven't, I thought I'd share the idea.

I made a very small cup shaped depression in the top and bottom rails for the bow to spin it.  Works well and spins very easily for spraying on all sides.

Cheers!

Looks good,  one of these days I'm going to build me one similar to that,  I was thinking of a plunger style spring loaded.  Virtually the Sam set up
