Hi guys, i had this bear kodiak given to me the other day. The limb is twisted and it looks like lams are starting to separate. Is this repairable or do i have some firewood? Thanks, Brad.

The glass looks to be cracked at the string grove. I don't think the limbs can be saved but you could have new limbs put on that riser and to your specs. The riser would be worth saving if it were mine.

While Im no glass expert I say rack it and buy another bow. You can see the ripples in that glass. That means it failed in compression somewhere in the stack of lams or the glue holding them. It appears to be a Bear SK that could be replaced, money wise, quite cheap.
Thanks guys. I don't need to replace it as I really had no use for it. Just thought that id see if it was repairable.
Nah...It's toast as far as shooting and repair. It would make a good man-room decoration.
I agree with the rest isn't worth it.
Now here is what is possible though.
Our UBM state org. Had a traveling bow. After a couple of years it broke big time right in the middle of the limb.
It had some sentimental value.
Now this bow was totally broke but hanging together.
A guy in our club in,southern Mo. Took that bow and fixed it.
Could barely tell where it had broke. Shot well. We hung it up not feeling, good about passing it around anymore.
