I usually go for 4-6 hours, and at the end, turn the oven off, but do not open it. Let it cool to room temp before u touch it. I am no pro, but that is what i usually do, and it has worked so far. Maybe some of the veteran bow builders can pipe in.
I usually go about 4 hours, turn it off and leave everything in the box until the next morning.
So far I've had good luck setting the timer for 4 hours. Usually goes in before I go to bed, so by the next morning it has had time to cool as well. So far, the glue has always set up very well for me.
Hey guys.
To let the oven cool down to room temp, causes a better polymerisation of the glue.
I heat my glue to 80degrees Cel for one our(glue datasheet says that this is enough), and let it cool down in the oven. I never had a glue-fail.

I have an ETC and let it cook for about 1.5 hours at 180 degrees. Then let it cool to room temperature before breaking it loose.
