Wow and wow! I am working on a personal bow and I was thinking about some dark cocobolo veneers, but people are starting to tell me the dark cocobolo turns nearly black under clear glass, so I a second guessing myself. But you got some great combos there

Thanks guys!! Ralph Cocobola will turn darker under glass. Here's a picture of a bow I made using Cocobola in the limbs. Tony

Tony, here is the cocobolo veneers I was thinking about using with this riser. With how dark they are now do you think I should just use the tulipwood you also see?

Ralph, those cocobola veneers look about as dark as those I used. I've never used Tulipwood before, it's beautiful wood. If you have any scrap clear glass and veneer pieces try gluing up a sample and see which one you like best with the riser, that's what I do when I can't decide. If you need some scrap glass let me know I have some I'll send you. Tony

Just added some pics of the myrtle bow almost ready for finish sanding. Just a little more tillering, adding some deer antler on the riser face and I'll be ready to finish. Tony
