Those are some fine lookin' combinations!
Wow and wow! I am working on a personal bow and I was thinking about some dark cocobolo veneers, but people are starting to tell me the dark cocobolo turns nearly black under clear glass, so I a second guessing myself. But you got some great combos there
Thanks guys!! Ralph Cocobola will turn darker under glass. Here's a picture of a bow I made using Cocobola in the limbs. Tony

Awesome choices!! Looking forward to seeing these come together- you make some beauties.
looks like it is going to be a beauty.
Tony, here is the cocobolo veneers I was thinking about using with this riser. With how dark they are now do you think I should just use the tulipwood you also see?

Ralph, those cocobola veneers look about as dark as those I used. I've never used Tulipwood before, it's beautiful wood. If you have any scrap clear glass and veneer pieces try gluing up a sample and see which one you like best with the riser, that's what I do when I can't decide. If you need some scrap glass let me know I have some I'll send you. Tony
Great idea. I have a lot of scraps glass and I will glue it up in the AM and see what I like better. Sorry about hijacking you post and once again beautifull bows!
Anytime Ralph, post some pics when you decide. Tony
Just added some pics of the myrtle bow almost ready for finish sanding. Just a little more tillering, adding some deer antler on the riser face and I'll be ready to finish. Tony
Whooooo weeeeee!! purty, purty, purty!!!!
Gonna be a looker for sure!!!
