JT, osage would work fine for Hill style bow and especially with a glass lam bow. Because of its physical weight there are probably other lighter woods(or boo) that would give better performance but osage will make a good Hill style bow.

A friend of mine made an all osage hill with clear glass last year and it looked great.  Try it out.

The limbs will be heavy and will create a little more handshock.  Beauty will make up for it.

A carbon back will help reduce the weight considerably but will cover the Osage.
