Title: Grandson's bows
Post by: David Flanrey on June 28, 2012, 10:17:00 PM
My oldest daughter in going to make me a papa for the second time in a couple weeks.  I wanted the little fella to be prepared when he gets here so I made him his first osage self bow.  His name will be Clay.  It is 28" NTN and backed with copperhead.  It draws about 5# at 12".  The arrows are fletched with guinna feathers and tipped with 25 cal. hulls.  The quiver is rabbit.

I guess we'll have to wait on those full draw pics.  Clay is due to arrive July 7.  :bigsmyl:
Here is one more of Clay's bow.

I love it! Get a bow in their hand from the time their a baby. Told my wife I'm making our first child a bow before he/she is born when that day comes! Beautiful work!
