I harvested this piece of juniper a few years ago, I have it floor tillered now. It is 49" long and has 2"wide limbs. I read somewhere I think, that I will need to sinew the back. I have never played with juniper and would love some advice. I'm guessing it will have to be a fairly short draw too???

With a sinew backing you should be able to get 25" to 26" draw from her. I've not made a juniper bow yet but I have heard they excell with sinew backing.

Give Keenan a shout. He seems to be the juniper guru. He sent me a 58" sinew backed juniper bow last year that is awesome!

Use steam or boil to flip or recurve the tips with the junipers...itll bend like butter
