Some real nice rings on that one and a good ratio of early to late wood......Dan
I bet there is a bow hidden in that one.
Got her roughed out, then sealed the ends and back again. I think with the two pieces I cut off with the bandsaw I can get two small bows out of them. Definitely one for my grandson Landon.
He'll be two in Nov. I'll set it back for a few years until he's big enough.
I got a dandy stave there too,in between selling shirts and knives
Jim, I gave my grandson Mason his first selfbow at 3! He had a blast with it. He's 7 now, and on his second one.
Here's one of my favorite pics. It's been my screensaver for the last couple of years. It's Mason with his first selfbow, at the OK Wildlife Expo in Guthrie. He had just turned 4, and by the end of that weekend, between there and Mojam, I bet he had put over 500 arrows thru that little bow. He loves to see arrows fly!

Man! Look at that focus! Awesome pic!
Good looking stave there. I wish I could have made it to ojam this year. I made the last two, but work had other plans. I hate work. Love good osage though! Nice pictures there too. I love helping the kids find arrows during the kids shoot there.
