Title: My bow finished
Post by: Sharp Shooter on March 20, 2012, 09:36:00 PM
I finally finished my personal bow today, 64", 55# @ 28", 550 grain arrow, 197 FPS. Cocobola and Wenge riser with purpleheart accent and bleached antler on the face and tips. Cocobola veneers in the limbs with red elm core. Tony

Thanks for the comments, you'll have to excuse the silencer, I was in a hurry to shoot it. Tony

Tony, that looks super!

A question for you and Kenny...First, what is the degree of angle on the riser where the limbs bolt on?

Most that I've heard use 15 degrees...can it be more than that and use a greater reflex in the limbs?

Thanks,
Lyle

WOW! That is a very nice looking bow. I would be pleased with that if it only shot 150 fps.

Bet that has a heck of a good preload and I love the limb design.  From the strung profile, looks very vertically stable.

Awesome bow!
