Well here it is, as done as it will ever be. 60" long, 45#@28". Hickory backed Ipe with tips and riser made of bocote and cocobolo. I finished it off with 4 coats of tung oil, which really improved the overall look of the bow. Oh, and i threw in some pics of the back quiver i threw together this week..filled with some homemade arrows with fletching from a turkey i killed. Overall, a very do-it-yourself project!
thanks for looking guys!

Nice work! I like the curves, and the quiver.
Nice job on the whole package, quiver is very unique but in a good way.
Thanks guys. Yeah the top of the quiver was the end cut of the leather and was kinda feathered out already. Just decided to leave it on.
i like the handle. good work
Nice work...love the quiver. Bow is very nice too.
That's nice! The whole package. The quiver has a primitive look that goes very well with the arrows. Good job! The bow is pretty and looks fast.
That is just VERY nice...what is the thickness of your hickory?
I dont see a string on it? Any braced and drawn shots?
Hey, sorry I forgot the strung pics. I have them posted in a different thread - Rebacking into R/D. The Hickory is 3/16". Thanks for all the complements! I'm really happy with it!
Very nice set up, Kyle. Is the bow left handed?
It doesn't have a rest, so it could be shot either hand.
I like the whole package - nice work all the way around. Time to get after some turkeys!
Very nice work!
