While in Ace Hardware yesterday, I came across this scale. It's meant to be used to weigh your luggage prior to a flight to avoid weight charges. To my cheap skate eye it was something else. A bow scale! :) Easy to use and records the last weight with an indicator needle. Up to 75 pounds.
The pictures are self explanatory. Sure beats the bathroom scale

The price is right, but I had 2 of those give up on me. Bought a small in-line hanging scale at Ace and its been fine.
Did not see the in line of which you speak. OTOH, my mission that day was a can of paint. :) Going to play around with this and see how it does. If it gives out I'll be looking for the one you are using. Do you have any further description or pics?
So far this ones tracks with the old bathroom scale.
This is the closest thing I see on their site, but mine was around $20.

Thanks Glunt. Going to keep that in mind when the present one fails.
Bought a similar one from 3R, has performed fine. Use it with different rigs on tillering tree and to do TBB-style wood sample testing.
With the built-in tape measure and a bench vise, it's a quick and dirty way of checking initial floor- and long string-tillering too.
Couldn't find one just like yours but this looks like a good option from Amazon.com http://tinyurl.com/7e3as2z
I think I'll get one of these myself. Probably be $20 with shipping.
