Title: bow off of new form
Post by: Robertfishes on February 28, 2012, 07:31:00 PM
I have been building Binghams One piece recurves and kennym's 64" R/D longbow for the last 2 years.I wanted to build something I designed so  I drew up a 58" recurve and made the form earlier this month.. here's the first bow off of that form. curly black walnut veneers, red elm tapers and dymondwood riser, havn't scaled it but it was 55 lbs before finish sanding, I sanded the heck out of it, so it is likely arround 53lbs at 28"     (http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt46/Robertfishes/feb2012bow15walnut.jpg)    (http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt46/Robertfishes/feb2012bow15.jpg)
