I feel just like a novice starting on an Osage self stick for the 1st time in almost 20 years.
I'm down to one growth ring and starting to take away any wood that isn't a part of my stick.
I had been working on it for a bit before thinking that I needed to chronicle my progress via pictures.
Here's how far I've gotten so far.

How cool is that way I am saying. Seems that I have heard that line somewhere before HMMM. Seriouly it looks to be a great bow in the making. You wood bow guys amaze me, I wish I had your patience and talent.

I took a little of the dipsy and doodle out of it today.

Looking good Mudd!Keep us posted.
Glad to see you working on a nice piece of Osage there MUDD...You better hurry up and get that done if you're planning on using it in ALABAMA next weekend LOL!!! It's great to see that you're having fun and enjoying the nice weather outside.
I've run into some issues that will have to wait.
I'm putting this on hold until the MoBoJam where I know I can get expert help.
Somethings I can understand by reading but this is one area that I need more help than I can glean from the written word.
God bless,Mudd
