1ST Time Bow Build. Used a Binghams T/d LB form but tweaked it as I went. Learned a lot and had a ton of fun. Finished just in time for the last week of the season. Came out at 59# @ 28". Can't wait to start on the second.

I am sure plans will be in the works for another soon.
Nice! I like those colors.
You have gone and done it now. You do realize there is no cure for what you have started? Enjoy!
That is a very nice bow.
Hoping to start one this winter...I hope it turns out that well. Good job.
Oh yeah, how does it shoot? Any pics at full draw?

Jim, That is a great looking bow, you should be very proud of it. Enjoy shooting something you made...
Nice lookin' bow, Jim.
Well done. That's quite a task tackling a take down on your first bow build.
Welcome to the addiction. You will never look at a piece of wood again withouth thinking how it would look in a riser or laminations.
looks good. That's a very unique riser shape, it looks great. Hope you caught the bow building bug
definetly have the bug now. Have already order the material for the 2nd project.
Nice work jim.
Very nice!
What is that riser? The colors are great for the woods!
Very nice work Jim!
Hey Jim,
Did you order the lamination press kit to build this as well? I was thinking about ordering the fire hose style press for the even pressure it provides.
Nice work...getting prepped to start my first as well.
Looking good?
I did use the lamination press kit with the fire hose press.
Nice bow!!
How did you do the last of the season?
:campfire:
That looks fabulous!!!! If you get tired of shooting it let me know. Super nice
I was looking at that wood before, now I really want that in one of my bows!
Good job! From the drawn profile it looks like it would be smooth out to some longer draw lengths as well.

Ended up seeing nothing over the last week of the season. Full moon, no snow and 50 degree weather made life easy for the deer at the end of the season. Did end up finding a nice 14 pt buck I had been hunting dead. Not sure what killed him my guess is one of neighbors hit him and couldn't find him. Do have a nice set of rattling horns now. Just got the material for the 2nd bow yesterday. Its bow building season.
Nice consolation but would have been better if you would have crossed paths with him first...
14 points!! Wouldn't mind seeing that.... good luck with your new rattles :)
