Hi guys - I thought I'd share a few pictures of a bow I just completed. It's zebrawood with a purple heart accent and curly maple limbs. It came in at 50# and is 58" long. It came in a little heavier than expected so I have some more wood on the way for a lighter one for my wife. :)

That is a good looking bow. That Purple Heart is a perfect touch. By the way has anyone ever had problems with Purple Heart dulling tools?
Nice work!
Thats really nice.

I can see you now JBB shucks honey this one turned out a little too heavy. Guess I get to keep it and try again for you.
Great looking bow!
Very sharp looking bow.
Sweet! That purpleheart really looks good with the zebrawood, I'll have to try that combo.

That bow looks so nice. Great job!
Great job! That's too bad about the target weight, Huh?
Nice work, I'm sure hers will be just as nice. Great job.......Dan
Thanks everyone for the kind words. I just got back from shooting it some more at the range, I'm really liking it.
Rmorris - I did a full riser for a longbow in purple heart a few years ago and found it kind of difficult to work with. I don't think I'll do another riser in it but had no issues for the accents.
Kind of suspicious that it came in at the perfect weight for me, huh. Here's the full draw picture and a couple others.

Very nice
You did a fantastic job! Everything works together on that bow.the wood choices and the riser shape are very appealing! Looks like great craftsmanship too! Keep it up, Mike
That is purty.
It shoots as good as it looks too! Jay came down to our cabin this morning to hunt during the late deer season, so after breakfast we got to fling a few arrows stump shooting. It happens to be a perfect weight for me also (Jay's dad).
