Here is two different styles of risers I was able to get out of the same form. I designed this new bow around the fact that I can hardly find any wood thicker than 1" around Albuquerque anymore. The only piece that is thicker than 1" is the crescent shape and it is only 8.5" long so I have enough extra wood for the crescents. Please tell me what style you like more all I am going to say is the bocote one is way easier and quicker to make.

Very nice!!!
Oops...I just peed a little. Very nice!
Hmmmm....both are great looking bows. I guess with that style of r/d bow, I kind of like the style of the one with the bacote riser better.
Again, both look great!
Awesome bows.
very nice!!
Awsum work!
Nice work! I like the one with crescent but the other one is sweet too.
Very nice!
I like 'em both but the one with the crescent is my favorite.

X3 very nice bow.
I like the style of the bocote riser better as well but would really have to see them up close and shoot them to say for sure. :)

Great job on those two bows.
Wow. Those a some nice looking bows.
Very nice.
Whats the verdict on how they perform? If you had a do over- more D/R?
They are both very nice, guess I like the bocote a little better.
I like both styles, you can't go wrong either way. Go with what you enjoy building the most.
