Title: Flex Cut Drawknife
Post by: WILL CAROTHERS on December 30, 2011, 02:31:00 AM
For Christmas, i got two drawknives, one light, flexible, 5 inch flexcut, and a 10 in off brand knife, you should see how well this flexcut cuts, for the past five days, all ive been doing is working down large staves, and it still slices clean through paper. Its edge hasn't even began to dull yet, a great gift (or investment).

I have one of those.  It's great.  The only problem is that it's so sharp it's easy to cut through a growth ring if you aren't careful.

I geuss this knife isn't meant for to much cutting. I was working on a boardbow, the knife went straight through one of the 3 lams and broke the bow, in the process, both tha handles of the knife popped off
