Title: Strange Find
Post by: White Oak on December 12, 2011, 08:34:00 PM
My wife and I were doing some Christmas shopping Sunday and stopped into a pet store specializing in natural pet foods.
Now c'mon guys. Be nice here. My 4 legged little buddy needs something from old Santa too.
As I walked through the store what to my wondering eyes should appear? Antlers!! Seriously. Lengths and pieces of elk, moose and deer antler.I guess they sell them for dog chews. I was thinking overlays and knife handles myself. Seems that you find things in the strangest places.
Take care,
Ed  :dunno:

While on an elk hunt the year in Idaho, I stopped at a fur buyers shop just to look around. This guy sells every part of an animal you can think of. One big part of his business is buying shed antlers of all kinds. He then cuts them up and sells the chunks as orgnanic chew toys. I cut my own and the dogs love them.
