where can I get a decent osage stave thats ready to start making it into the bow. I don't have a dry box but I do have my tools and my bow horse.
my old friend who I used to make bows with had all the dry boxs so I have to wing it and find somethign that if not perfect in the moisture content is pretty close IF POSSIBLE,, who sells them or who trades them?
i got some from dean marlow the other day. they looked good- havn't cut into them as of yet.
lotsa other folk on here too, they will simmer to the top!!
John Scifres and Semo_hunter both sell them and are sponsors on here.
Gary Davis rattlestick bows almost complete, all you have to do is tiller.
WOW,, okay this is plenty to look into and thanks for the posts everyone!
I would also recommend rattlestick.
If I were starting out, I'd get one from Gary Davis. It may seem pricey, but it will be a good'un. They're guaranteed too.
