Title: ILF limb pocket angle
Post by: giff on October 09, 2011, 05:48:00 PM
I am working in a 15" ILF riser and was wondering if anyone knows what angle the limb pockets should be. I have them at 12* now, knowing that its easier to take off than add on. I thought I read somewhere that most bowyers use 14*, but cant remember where so that I can make sure.

IIRC it was about 17°, it depends on the draw lenght you have.
It also dependes on the deflex of the riser.
Hope this helps.
