I've been working on this bow for a while now. I've been able to get a lot done over the past week. I still have a lot to do but I thought I'd show you where I am. I've been wanted to make a selfbow with a customized grip for a while. This winged elm has a lot of promise.

nice bow! looks a lot different from a run of the mill selfbow grip. im guessin all those ilf grips have got you influenced. rv
LOL. Actually, last summer I went to a very low, flat grip on my target bow. After about two weeks I developed a bad case of tendonitis in my left elbow. I couldn't shake it. Two weeks ago I had to get a steroid injection and my physical therapist and ortho surgeon both said to go back to a medium to high wrist grip to relieve the stress on the elbow. So I decided I'd make this selfbow with a medium wrist grip as well. I just hope the tendonitis never returns.
Looking good now to see her finished up.
